Isopropyl Myristate

Isopropyl myristate is used in lotions, bath oils, massage oils and perfumes to create a nice slip and help to products absorb quickly and easily into skin. We find that adding isopropyl myristate to lotion adds a nice smoothness – leaving it out of your lotion will result in a thicker lotion with less glide. We have also found that using isopropyl myristate in lip products can give your product a sheerness that it will be without if you decide to leave it out and go for a thicker lip stick product.
